My art in based in textiles, which moulds from analoge photographic layers and a poetic view. I see my art as poetry without words, expressed through textiles as an extended language.
Moods and subtle signals, an atmosphere or figuration of the inner room captured in a transparent externality. Composition and tactility are important foundations, together with the space related to their own physical body.
With a background in psychology, my art often grows from matters of the psyche and what it means to be a human being. It concerns the conscious and the unconscious and the quiet states of melancholy and dreams. The art grows from an aspiration to put the hazy dimensions of the inner word into physical form.
Located in Gothenburg with a BA in applied arts from HDK.
